The M.Sc. covers both the theoretical and the technological aspects of Computer Science. The goal of the M.Sc. is:
a) to further advance knowledge, promote research, and fullfill the educational, research, social, cultural and development needs of Greece in the area of Computer Science.
b) to offer its students high quality specialization in theoretical and applied areas of Computer Science, as well as in specialized thematic areas or branches of Computer Science that are included in the first cycle of studies of the Department of Informatics and Telecommunications, or other departments that offer studies related to Computer Science.
c) to prepare scientists and researchers that are capable of contributing to the advancement of research, technology and tertiary education in the discipline of Computer Science.
