The exam schedule for the winter semester of year 2023-2024

Students of the M.Sc. programme in Computer Science can take part in the contest for ideas to participate in the fourth Robotics and Intelligent Systems Festival of the Municipality of Kalamata. The Municipality of Kalamata will cover travel and lodging expenses for the participation in the Festival of up to two teams that will be selected through this contest; additionally, expenses of the selected teams for building the system that will be demonstrated in the contest, up to 300 euros per team will be covered.

The Computer Science Master's Program is pleased and proud to present the awards for the best thesis for the academic year 2023-2024. Among many excellent nominations, the following two theses were finally selected for award:

The evaluation of the courses taught in our M.Sc. programme within the winter semester of the academic year 2024-25 will take place from Wednesday 11/12/2024 to Friday 24/01/2025.

The students of the M.Sc. in Computer Science may attend the Double training programme on Azure Azure AI Fundamentals & Career Essentials in Generative AI, which is includes 14 hours of combined training, aiming to introduce participants to the basic principles of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Generative Artificial Intelligence. The programme comprises two units:

Projects AGRARIAN and SodaSense, are organizing the workshop “Harvesting tomorrow: Workshop on new technologies and challenges in precision farming”.

In the context of an initiative taken by the M.Sc. in Computer Science and the Software and Database Systems Lab, the University of the Peloponnese is organizing with a sponsorship by Pfizer Hellas and in cooperation with Code.Hub, two training seminars on the following topics:

Netcompany-Intrasoft organizes a career event, specially focused on Software Testing. The event will be held at the company offices in Maroussi, Attica. Participants will have the opportunity to learn information about the company, discuss with renown professionals of the field, acquire valuable knowledge and be informed about career opportunities in the developing company groups.

The fresher reception event of the M.Sc. in Computer Science was held on 17/10/2024. After the greeting speech delivered by the Dean of the Faculty of Economy and Technology professor Ioannis Moscholios, the Director of the M.Sc. programme Professor Costas Vassilakis presented to the newly admitted students the study programme, the study framework, the services offered to the students, the paths available after the graduation, as well as practical information and good practices for their studies.
